About TRISTAN

The Triennial Symposium on Transportation Analysis (TRISTAN) is now approaching its eleventh event! This international event aims to bring together leading scientists in operational research and transportation, including academics and practitioners from both the private and public sectors.

This fantastic symposium will be held on Mauritius Island, situated in the golden triangle connecting Asia, Africa and Australia. Historically, the symposium is organized across five weekdays, with the middle day (Wednesday) a day of social networking and pleasant excursions. For 2022, we will offer an immersive experience at the Flic en Flac.

TRISTAN XI builds from previous symposia in Hamilton, Australia (2019), Aruba (2016), San Pedro de Atacama, Chile (2013), Tromsø, Norway (2010), Phuket, Thailand (2007), Guadaloupe (2004), the Azores (2001), San Juan, Puerto Rico (1998), Capri, Italy (1994), and Montréal, Canada (1991).
